Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the company, including fleet, workshop, dispatch, & administration, to meet business targets.
- Plan & manage the annual budget, controlling costs & improving profitability across the fleet.
- Ensure all fuel transportation activities comply with safety, environmental, & regulatory standards (including EWURA & other local authorities).
- Oversee fleet performance, maintenance planning, fuel efficiency, & vehicle availability to reduce downtime.
- Build & maintain strong relationships with oil marketing companies, customers, suppliers, & government authorities.
- Supervise, coach, & evaluate department heads & staff, & report regularly to the Board or owners on performance, risks, & growth plans.

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in a management role, preferably in fuel transportation, logistics, or heavy-vehicle operations.
- Proven track record of managing a large truck fleet, workshop operations, & operating budgets.
- Strong knowledge of fuel transport safety standards, HSE practices, & Tanzanian transport regulations.
- Knowledge of Chinese trucks is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation, & communication skills, with strong computer skills.
