Responsibilities
- Fabricate & weld steel structures, platforms, supports & frames for the plant machinery.
- Weld pipework & fittings, & make sure the joints are strong & leak-free.
- Cut, grind, fit & align materials accurately, following drawings & specifications.
- Work with the mechanical & electrical teams to install & secure equipment in position.
- Inspect finished welds for quality & carry out repairs or rework where needed.
- Follow site safety rules, keep tools & welding equipment in good condition, & keep the work area clean.

Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in welding & fabrication (VETA or equivalent).
- 2+ years of experience on a related field
- Proven hands-on experience in industrial or plant installation, or heavy fabrication.
- Skilled in MIG, TIG & arc (stick) welding, & able to weld structural steel & pipework.
- Able to read & follow engineering drawings, weld symbols & installation layouts.
- Knowledge of workshop safety, including PPE, hot-work procedures & working at height.
- Available for the full 3-month installation period, & willing to work shifts or overtime when the schedule needs it.
