Work.tz helps people find employer adverts in Tanzania, including Zanzibar, and understand applications and pay. Access is free for job seekers. You apply through the employer’s stated process.

What we verify

We retain original requirements, source links and check dates. We do not invent a salary, deadline, qualification or workplace. A catalogue snapshot can miss later changes, so check the original before applying. One role may advertise several positions.

Languages and editorial work

The interface and career library are available in English and Swahili. Vacancy bodies remain in the source language unless a checked translation is available. Our guides are general editorial guidance, not employer instructions. Illustrations are generated with AI and depict fictional people.

Pay evidence

Salary articles distinguish statutory sector minimums from salary averages, public pay-scale codes and individual offers. Tables identify their source and effective date. Mainland and Zanzibar rules are not treated as interchangeable.

Corrections and employers

Use Contact to report a mistake with the page and source link. Employers can submit an official advert through Post a job. Submission does not automatically publish a vacancy and Work.tz does not receive candidate applications.
