Choose the category carefully
A job title alone may not decide the category. Confirm the employer's sector and, where it matters, the hotel classification, the contractor class or the mining licence. If you are unsure, ask the employer how it classifies itself and check with the labour office.
What this comparison means
The result compares only the monthly amount with the floor you chose. It is not a ruling on compliance, an average salary, a take-home pay figure or a check for Zanzibar or the public service. Hours, classification and the rest of the contract need their own review.
The 2025 Order took effect on 1 January 2026, and better existing pay is not reduced by it. For hourly or daily work, use the period rates in the order itself. Checked on 12 October 2026: no later order had replaced GN 605A.
