Working in Ubungo

The university and other colleges, the Mlimani City shopping centre, factories and depots along Morogoro Road and Mandela Road, markets and transport businesses are among the employers. Typical openings are teaching and research support, retail and customer service, production and warehouse work, drivers and mechanics.

The Mwendokasi rapid buses run along Morogoro Road through Ubungo to Kimara, and Morogoro Road and Mandela Road meet at the Ubungo interchange. Upcountry buses now leave from the Magufuli bus terminal at Mbezi, further west.
