Factory applications: show process, quality and safe working
Production employers need to understand which tasks and equipment you can handle, not only that you are hardworking.
Identify the production stage
Separate machine operation, packing, maintenance, quality control and warehouse work. Highlight the stage you know and state your actual level of responsibility. An operator and a maintenance technician may need different qualifications.
Use evidence from a normal shift
Describe checking materials, recording output, identifying a defect or handing over to the next shift. Use accurate quantities only if you can support them. Explain what you escalated to a supervisor instead of claiming you solved everything alone.
Be precise about training
List the equipment and safety training you actually completed. Do not present observation as authorisation to operate. If the employer offers training, ask about supervision and the assessment before independent work.
Check the shift requirements
Read the location, rotating shifts, transport and physical duties before applying. At offer stage, separate fixed pay from output bonuses and clarify how overtime is approved and recorded.
