Job Purpose
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts in the warehouse to facilitate the movement, loading, unloading, stacking, and storage of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety standards.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Stack and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory management activities.

- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping within the warehouse area.
- Complete relevant documentation and records accurately.
- Report any incidents, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
- Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV) or equivalent
- Forklift Operator Certificate
- Valid Tanzania Driving License Class F
- Minimum of 2 years' experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
