TCAA field and internship applications: what to prepare

The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority provides an online portal for internship and field applications. The portal says students can browse opportunities, apply and track their applications. A working portal does not mean a suitable place is open for every subject or period.

Start with the category and period

The form asks applicants to select an application category and proposed period before viewing available posts. Choose a period that fits your institution’s requirements and check the current opportunities. Confirm whether you are applying for a course attachment or a graduate internship; the terms may differ.

Prepare information accurately

Keep your institution’s name, programme, expected dates and contact details ready. If the specific opportunity asks for a letter from your institution or supporting documents, follow that notice. Do not invent an aviation qualification or assume a permanent role will follow the placement.

Track the application

The portal provides a field for checking results with an application number. Save that number and any confirmation, and check the official system for updates. Before accepting a place, ask about reporting location, working hours, safety instructions and whether any allowance or travel support is provided.

Use the authority’s official contact details if you need help. Do not pay a third party who promises to secure an internship or ask someone else to keep your login credentials.
