Enterprise Application Manager

Job Description

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle, availability, patches, and documentation for core enterprise systems, including Core Banking, LMS, CRM, HRMS, Finance, Digital Banking, and Reporting tools.

Lead secure application and API integrations across internal and third-party platforms, including Entra ID, payment gateways, MNOs, Credit Reference Bureaus, and banking switches.

Oversee database performance (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), ensuring high availability, optimal SQL performance, robust backups, and disaster recovery preparedness.

Implement application security and IAM protocols—including SSO, MFA, RBAC, DLP, user provisioning/deprovisioning, and least-privilege access—while coordinating vulnerability remediation with InfoSec.

Drive digital transformation initiatives, including business process automation, paperless workflows, electronic approvals, and customer digital services.

Direct software vendors by evaluating SLAs, tracking performance metrics, managing support contracts, and coordinating system change requests.

Governance of the IT Change Management process, ensuring proper testing, documentation, CAB approvals, and smooth production releases.

Maintain strict compliance with Bank of Tanzania ICT Guidelines, the Personal Data Protection Act (2022), ISO 27001 standards, and support internal/external audit requirements.

Develop operational dashboards to monitor application availability, incident trends, system performance, vendor SLAs, and user adoption.
