Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely & efficiently to load, unload, move, & stack goods, pallets, & materials in the warehouse or yard.
- Carry out daily pre-use inspections of the forklift (brakes, forks, tyres, hydraulics, battery or fuel) & report any faults immediately.
- Ensure goods are handled, stored, & labelled correctly to prevent damage, loss, or mix-ups.
- Follow all health, safety, & traffic rules in the work area, including wearing the required PPE.
- Keep accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, & dispatches, & support stock counts when required.
- Keep the work area, forklift, & loading bays clean & organised, & report hazards, accidents, or near-misses promptly.

Requirements
- A valid forklift operator licence or certificate from a recognised training institution.
- At least 2 years of proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, factory, port, or logistics environment.
- A Form IV certificate or equivalent (a diploma in logistics or stores is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of safe handling procedures, load limits, & workplace safety standards.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to read pallet labels & basic stock documents & keep simple records.
- Physically fit, reliable, & willing to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required.
