Requirements and responsibilities

Job Description

Installing GPS devices: Installing GPS tracking devices on vehicles as required and ensuring they operate properly.

Visiting the factory for GPS installation on MO Finance vehicles as required.

Conducting field visits to repair GPS devices on customer vehicles as needed.

Conducting inspection and troubleshooting: Conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting non-reporting devices to ensure they operate efficiently.

Assisting in root cause analysis: Assisting the tracking team in identifying and analysing the root cause of technical issues related to GPS devices.

Reporting device tampering: Promptly notifying clients and supervisors if a device has been tampered with or compromised.

Collecting equipment from the office: Collecting configured GPS units, SIM cards, and all required equipment prior to installation.

Completing job forms: Filling out work forms with all required information, obtaining necessary signatures for installation and inspection, and submitting them properly.

Updating relevant teams: Informing the control room and technical team regarding new installations and inspections to ensure information is shared.

Customer service: Communicating with clients and arranging service or replacement of GPS devices for motorcycles whose units are not working.

Analysis: Assisting the tracking team in conducting root cause analysis of reported problems, and submitting device tampering reports to the tracking supervisor, head of department, and tracking team.

Sharing installation information: Providing tracking supervisors and unit heads with installation details for better coordination.

Reporting: Submitting daily reports on GPS installations and device inspections/replacements.

Confidentiality: Providing the highest level of customer service to Company clients while maintaining full confidentiality of all information regarding GPS device installation and servicing.

Tools and inventory storage: Properly organizing work tools and maintaining accurate records of all equipment and accessories.

Record-keeping: Maintaining complete records and submitting all information regarding GPS device installation to the supervisor – vehicle chassis number, registration number, make, model, colour, device IMEI number, SIM number, date, and location of installation. Other information may be requested at any time.

Submitting consumables list: Preparing and submitting accurate lists of minor hardware used during installation and inspection for records.

Demonstrating flexibility: Being ready to be flexible with work schedules and assisting with additional tasks as needed to support the team.
