CCTV Operator/Technician

Job Description

Monitor all CCTV cameras, surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems continuously to ensure full security coverage of the recycling plant, production areas, warehouses, loading bays, perimeter fencing, gates, and restricted zones.

Detect, assess, and immediately report security breaches, theft, unauthorized access, fire outbreaks, safety violations, equipment abnormalities, accidents, and other incidents in accordance with company emergency response procedures.

Coordinate with security personnel, plant supervisors, HSE officers, and emergency responders during incidents to ensure timely response, escalation, and resolution of security and safety events.

Retrieve, review, export, and securely archive CCTV footage and surveillance evidence for investigations, audits, disciplinary actions, insurance claims, and regulatory or law enforcement requirements while maintaining confidentiality and chain-of-custody procedures.

Conduct routine checks on CCTV equipment, recording systems, monitors, network connectivity, and backup power systems to ensure continuous functionality and promptly report technical faults or system failures.

Monitor employee, contractor, visitor, and vehicle movement through surveillance and access control systems to ensure compliance with authorized access procedures and prevent unauthorized activities within the facility.

Prepare accurate surveillance logs, incident reports, shift handover reports, and operational records while ensuring compliance with company security procedures, HSE standards, fire safety regulations, environmental requirements, and data protection policies.
