Chillar Operator

Job Description

Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of chillers, cooling towers, and associated equipment with the support of technicians where required.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and other related process equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Inspect equipment regularly to identify faults, recommend corrective actions, and minimize equipment downtime.

Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities, including updates to equipment history and maintenance documentation.

Prepare and submit requests for replacement parts, spare parts, and maintenance materials to ensure timely availability.

Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and engineering best practices.

Promote and adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

Participate in continuous on-the-job and classroom training to enhance technical knowledge, develop skills, and improve overall job performance.

Perform any other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
