Electrician

Job Description

Attend to electrical breakdowns of utility equipment and production machinery.

Troubleshoot and maintain HT and LT breakers and associated electrical systems.

Diagnose and rectify electrical control faults in machines and control panels.

Perform maintenance and repairs on injection moulding machines.

Troubleshoot and repair LV electrical panels.

Conduct motor winding, HT breaker, and LT breaker testing.

Report all equipment breakdowns immediately to the reporting officer.

Minimize machine downtime through timely fault diagnosis and repairs.

Ensure electrical installations and machine settings comply with company standards.

Follow Good Housekeeping (GHK), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and all safety procedures.

Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.

Maintain proper custody of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts.

Be responsible for electrical components during maintenance and machine idle periods.

Adhere to shift schedules and reporting times.

Do not leave the work area without properly handing over duties and obtaining supervisor approval.

Follow all instructions issued by supervisors and the reporting officer.

Communicate promptly regarding electrical spare parts and consumable requirements.

Ensure effective shift handovers and communication.

Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting requirements.
