Job Summary
On behalf of our international client from the logistics and shipping industry, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Business Development Representative to promote the international
freight forwarding, logistics, and product sourcing services. The company specializes in Ocean
Freight, Air Freight, Customs Clearance, Project Cargo, and sourcing products
from India and China for their customers worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop
new business opportunities in Tanzania

• Visit
importers, exporters, manufacturers, and trading companies

• Generate
inquiries for international logistics and sourcing services

• Arrange
customer meetings and follow up on quotations

• Build
long-term relationships with clients and report business opportunities to
the Head office in India

Requirements

• Bachelors' Degree in any related field

• Minimum
2 years' experience in freight forwarding or international logistics, Shipping
Lines, Customs
Clearing & Forwarding, Import
& Export, Logistics & Supply Chain

• Strong
communication and customer relationship skills

• Good
command of English

• Existing
network within the import/export industry will be an advantage

• Ability
to work independently

Compensation

• Monthly
retainer (negotiable)
