Incoming Material - Chemist

Job Description

Conduct inspections of all incoming raw materials and packaging materials to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications

Conduct testing and analysis of materials to verify conformity with quality requirements, regulatory standards, and company specifications

Accurately document and maintain records of inspection findings, test results, and quality assessments in a timely manner

Collaborate with suppliers, including A One Dar, to identify, address, and resolve quality-related issues concerning raw and packaging materials

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production complaints and non-conformities arising from raw materials or packaging materials

Implement and monitor quality control procedures and corrective actions based on testing results and RCA findings

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in material quality, production processes, and operational efficiency

Maintain up-to-date quality control records, reports, certificates, and related documentation

Participate in internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits related to material quality and quality management systems

Stay informed of current industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to quality assurance and quality control

Attend training programs, workshops, and professional development activities to enhance technical and quality management knowledge

Communicate effectively with production, procurement, and other relevant departments to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance programs, policies, and initiatives within the department

Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, food safety standards, and quality management system requirements

Perform microbiological testing and related laboratory activities during the absence of the Microbiologist

Carry out any other quality-related duties and responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Officer or Management
