3.1. Instructor-Mechanics (1 Position)
3.1.1. Qualifications& experience
• An applicant should be graduate with Bachelor Degree in Mechanics or Related programs.
• Additional qualifications related to teaching will be added advantage.
• An applicant should be creative, self-motivated, ready to learn, capable to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• An applicant should at least have one year teaching experience in training institutions accredited by NACTVET.
3.1.2. Job Description
• Teaching Up to NTA level 6.
• Teach and supervise students using lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory workshop sessions, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects.
• Develop curriculum, prepare teaching materials and course outlines.
• Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress.
• Provide consultation services to government, business or other organizations.
• Provide individual tutorial or remedial instruction to students who require it.
• Supervise independent or group projects, field placements, laboratory work or hands-on training.
• Supervise Assistant Instructors.
