Mold Technician

Job Description

Ensure to have good understanding on SOP of machines.

Ensure the daily lubrication is done before start up.

Inform the Reporting Officer immediately if there is any breakdown.

Try to finish the Mold change in minimum time.

Rectify the fault and reduce the down time.

Ensure machine settings are as per standards.

Ensure GHK and GMP to be adhered according to SOP of machine.

Ensure maintenance schedule is done in time and adhere to task list given.

Ensure to keep safe custody of tools, machine components, and change parts.

Responsible for all the machine parts and components even during mould change, maintenance and idle time if any.

Strictly maintain the shift reporting time and break timings.

Without handing over the charge, not supposed to leave machine/work area; obtain permission from reporting officer before leaving.

Follow the instructions as given by Reporting Officer and Supervisors.

Ensure timely communication for consumables of machine to reporting supervisor.

Ensure the proper communication during handover of responsibility to the next shift.

Ensure to take responsibility of trouble shooting in times of breakdown.

Ensure the utility requirements — air, chilled water, power — are according to machine standards.

Ensure the machine safety and men safety interlocks are in place.

The Technician is expected to accept the shuffling of location of responsibility during the need of hour basis.

The Technician is expected to accept any other job assigned by management at any given time during the period of employment.
