Production Supervisor

Job Description

• Coordinate production schedules to meet output and quality targets.
• Ensure equipment and materials are available to support uninterrupted production.
• Enforce quality standards for all products.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions where required.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Lead, coach, and motivate production staff.
• Conduct training on safety, equipment usage, and quality procedures.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, and overtime.
• Prepare production reports covering output, efficiency, and downtime.
• Track data for performance analysis and KPI evaluation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement optimization initiatives.
• Monitor resource usage, including materials and labour, to control costs.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability.
• Address production issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Work closely with the Quality Control and Maintenance departments to resolve complex problems.
