Shrink Wrap Operator

Job Description

Ensure to have good understanding on SOP of machine.

Ensure the daily log sheet is duly filled and maintained.

Inform the Reporting Officer immediately if there is any breakdown.

Operate the machine, for all pack sizes and flavours.

Ensure machine settings are as per standards.

Ensure GHK and GMP to be adhered according to SOP of machine.

Ensure maintenance schedule is done in time and adhere to task list given.

Ensure to keep safe custody of tools, machine components, change parts.

Responsible for all the machine parts and components during maintenance and idle time if any.

Strictly maintain the shift reporting time and break timings.

Without handing over the charge, not supposed to leave machine/work area; obtain permission from reporting officer before leaving.

Follow the instructions as given by superiors.

Ensure timely communication for raw material, consumables of machine to reporting supervisor.

Carry out changeover as and when required.

Ensure the proper communication during handover of responsibility to the next shift.

Ensure to take responsibility of trouble shooting in times of breakdown.

Ensure the utility requirements — air, chilled water, power — are according to machine standards.

Ensure the machine safety and men safety interlocks are in place.

Ensure to be aware of usage procedure of fire extinguisher.

Skills Required

Spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
Word Processing and Desktop Publishing Tools (MS Office, Google Docs, etc)
