Technician

Job Description

Operate semi-automatic PET blow moulding machines safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.

Set machine parameters, including oven temperature, blow pressure, stretch rod timing, and cycle time.

Perform mould changes, bottle size changeovers, and machine start-up/shutdown procedures.

Monitor bottle quality for dimensions, transparency, wall thickness, and visual defects.

Troubleshoot machine and process issues to minimize downtime and reduce production rejects.

Carry out routine preventive maintenance, lubrication, and replacement of worn machine components.

Follow safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.

Continuously improve machine efficiency, reduce material wastage, and achieve production and quality targets.

Replace worn seals, O-rings, valves, bearings, and pneumatic components.

Operate and maintain air compressors and chillers.
