Job Description

Comply with all health and safety protocols according to procedures and policies.

Fill all work-related documents pertaining to work according to procedure e.g., Job Cards, work permit, hot work permit, confined space work permit.

Monitor day-to-day of operations in maintenance department.

Inspecting facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential issues and report to supervisor.

Performs emergency and allocated welding and cutting works as advised by mechanical supervisor.

Study and sketch the parts to be fabricated and determines operations to be performed

Identify and Repair welding defects.

Perform gas cutting operations.

Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

Plan and inform material requirement to supervisor.

Shifting of welding machine, cylinders to the work station and setting up components for welding or cutting according to specifications.

Responsible for safety & security of company assets in his control.

Actively participate in project like installation upgradation, relocation of machine an all-other maintenance work.

Record preparation of tools history card, store room, tool room.

Keeping record of maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

Be adaptable with work hours and willing to assist with additional task as needed to support the team.

Willing to work in shift.
