Requirements and responsibilities
Job Description
Conduct on-site visits to residential and business addresses of loan applicants to verify personal and financial information provided in loan applications.
Prepare detailed field investigation reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations based on interviews, site visits, and document verification.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of report submissions, adhering to established reporting standards and guidelines.
Coordinate with internal departments, including credit, underwriting, and collections teams, to share investigation findings, address inquiries, and support decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing field investigations and credit underwriting processes.
Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and privacy regulations in handling sensitive information and conducting investigations.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in field investigation techniques and tools.
Participate in training programs, workshops, and skill development activities to enhance investigative skills, knowledge of fraud detection, and risk mitigation strategies.
Make and maintain contacts with leaders of targeted areas and community groups within those areas.
Assist reporting officer in compiling monthly reports.
Support data collection from field sites routinely and on special request.
Take photographs of clients' residence/workplace, collect feedback surveys and testimonials and submit them to responsible departmental heads.
Collect correct GPS data for the physical verification of the client’s address.
Coordinate with the control room operator for GPS alert and take immediate action based on the seriousness of the situation at any given time.
Meet and confirm the client details with the park chairman and neighbours.
Interviewing clients to get the necessary information for the loan application.
Ensure proper KYC has been followed and documented.
Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments.
Responding to customer queries.
Ensure to maintain a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) of less than 5%.
Preparation of weekly, bimonthly and monthly reports.
Providing support on Repossession and Legal actions, co-ordinate and provide field support in event of default or requires special attention.
Sell the MO Finance's Products proactively to new / prospective customers.
Obtain relevant documents on all MO Finance products sold, e.g. identity document, area leader letter, business registration documents (If it's a business) etc.
Ensure timely processing of all initiated Customer transactions, with specific emphasis on loan issuance.
