ETP Operator

Job Description

Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the Effluent/Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETP/WWTP).

Monitor the quality parameters of incoming and outgoing effluent on a daily basis.

Ensure all test results and operational records are documented accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsible for chemical preparation, dosing, and consumption control.

Support Water Treatment Plant (WTP) operations when required.

Monitor plant performance and make operational adjustments to optimize efficiency.

Perform plant start-ups and shutdowns as required.

Operate and maintain analysers, effluent transfer pumps, and final water filtration systems.

Monitor gauges, meters, and other indicators to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Maintain a clean, hygienic, and hazard-free work environment.

Continuously review plant operations to monitor production and treatment quality, proactively address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Maintain accurate records of key operational parameters, including plant uptime, utility consumption, and other performance indicators on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as required.
