Fitter Mechanic

Job Description

Machine Maintenance & Repair:

Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machines, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:

Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and provide technical support as needed.

General Maintenance Duties:

Perform repairs, minor improvements, and additional plant maintenance work.

Compliance & Standards:

Adhere to standard work practices and procedures.

Tool Maintenance:

Ensure all power tools are in optimal working condition.

Workshop Safety:

Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose faults in malfunctioning mechanical systems and equipment.

Assembly & Fitting:

Assemble and fit mechanical parts according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Breakdown Analysis:

Investigate root causes of breakdowns and implement preventive measures.

Maintenance Scheduling:

Follow and execute Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Maintenance Schedules under supervisor guidance.

Safety & Hygiene:

Strictly follow hygiene and safety protocols.
