Fleet Supervisor

Job Description

Monitor and maintain accurate records of drivers’ attendance, including check-in and check-out times.

Coordinate with the Sales Department to ensure timely vehicle allocation and availability for loading operations.

Promote and maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality, and discipline among drivers.

Monitor driver conduct and performance and report any behavioral concerns or disciplinary matters to management.

Liaise with the HR Department regarding misconduct, irregular activities, and other disciplinary issues involving drivers.

Address and resolve on-road operational challenges to ensure smooth and efficient transportation activities.

Monitor vehicle compliance, including valid insurance, licenses, inspection certificates, and other statutory requirements.

Ensure drivers maintain professional conduct, appropriate grooming, and smart dressing in accordance with company regulations.

Monitor and control fuel consumption by analyzing actual kilometres driven, fuel usage, and prescribed fuel consumption ratios using fleet management and vehicle tracking systems.

Monitor fuel dispensing and usage within and outside the company yard to identify and prevent fuel misuse, unauthorized consumption, and suspected fuel theft.

Investigate fuel consumption discrepancies and report irregularities to management for appropriate action.

Ensure compliance with company transport policies, safety procedures, and fleet management guidelines.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
