Machine Operator- Printing Division

Job Description

Install printing plates, cylinders, and blankets correctly to ensure smooth machine operation and print quality.

Load paper and adjust feeders, guides, and conveyors to ensure proper paper travel throughout the printing process.

Prepare, manage, and monitor ink supplies, including accurate color mixing as per production requirements.

Adjust ink flow and printing parameters to achieve precise color matching and maintain print quality standards.

Operate the printing machine efficiently while ensuring color consistency, print registration accuracy, and production targets are met.

Perform preventive maintenance on the printing machine to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press regularly in accordance with maintenance schedules and operating procedures.

Troubleshoot operational and quality issues, identify root causes, and take corrective actions to maintain productivity.

Follow all safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies while operating the equipment.

Maintain accurate production logs, machine performance records, and material usage reports.

Monitor machine performance and report any mechanical or electrical abnormalities to the relevant department.

Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained around the machine and work area at all times.

Minimize material wastage and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
