Job Description

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand project specifications and plan layout procedures accordingly.

Determine the appropriate welding techniques and equipment based on the materials and project requirements.

Set up welding components and materials in line with project specifications and ensure proper alignment before beginning work.

Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare metal parts for welding, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for fabrication.

Align and weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, ensuring precision and quality in various positions.

Repair damaged machinery, equipment, and metal components by welding, filling gaps, and reinforcing structures.

Test and inspect welded joints and surfaces to identify flaws or weaknesses, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Maintain welding equipment in optimal condition, ensuring tools are clean, functional, and safe for use.

Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
