Agricultural worker pay: crop and livestock operations
Seasonal work is easier to compare when the task, employment period and payment basis are written down together.

Mainland private sector. These are statutory minimums for the listed categories, not average salaries or take-home pay. They are not a Zanzibar or public-service pay table, and a contract can pay more.
Choose the right category
The agricultural definition covers more than field work and includes related undertaking activities. Forestry and fishing have separate rows. A crop-farm offer should not be compared with aquaculture simply because both involve outdoor work.
Questions to settle before accepting
For harvesting or piece-based work, ask how output is measured, rejected produce is treated and records are shared. Identify who provides tools, transport and protective equipment.
Make a fair comparison
Keep a daily record of hours, quantities accepted and money paid. A promised per-bag figure alone does not tell you the total pay for a week with bad weather.
