Energy-sector pay: company category and field terms
Energy work ranges from field installation to plant operations. The schedule also distinguishes the company category.

Mainland private sector. These are statutory minimums for the listed categories, not average salaries or take-home pay. They are not a Zanzibar or public-service pay table, and a contract can pay more.
Choose the right category
Domestic and international energy companies have different floors. These are not salary bands for electrical engineers, solar installers or sales staff, and job title alone cannot prove the correct category.
Questions to settle before accepting
Ask about travel between installations, on-call response, safety training, commissioning responsibilities and whether equipment or transport is provided.
Make a fair comparison
Compare the same roster and location. A remote-project allowance may end when a project ends, so keep it separate from the continuing salary.
