ETP Operator

Job Description

Operate and maintain the sewage water treatment plant safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.

Monitor treatment plant operations and make necessary process adjustments to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Perform plant start-up and shutdown procedures safely and effectively.

Operate and maintain aeration systems, effluent transfer pumps, final water filtration systems, and other plant equipment.

Monitor gauges, meters, control panels, and other operating indicators to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.

Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment and promptly report or address any operational issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Continuously monitor plant operations to ensure optimum production efficiency and treated water quality, proactively identifying and resolving operational problems.

Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance plant performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Maintain adequate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, equipment performance, and water quality test results.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment and coordinate repairs when required.

Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
