Shop Floor Supervisor

Job Description

Conduct final quality inspections on all repaired and serviced vehicles to ensure delivery standards are met.

Verify that all reported customer complaints are fully resolved prior to release.

Thoroughly inspect engine, electrical, suspension, braking, and bodywork components.

Ensure vehicles have no oil leaks, abnormal noises, or active warning lights.

Confirm all spare parts are correctly fitted and properly secured.

Perform road tests when required to verify vehicle performance.

Reconcile parts issued on the job card against physical installations in the vehicle.

Physically inspect replaced parts prior to handover, showing completed work to customers for total transparency.

Hand over all replaced old spare parts to customers (excluding warranty parts).

Monitor and control vehicle turnaround time (TAT), following up on pending jobs to prevent delivery delays.

Maintain a target of 95% for same-day vehicle deliveries.

Identify, document, and analyze repeat repair issues to achieve zero repeat complaints, reporting trends to the Reporting Officer.

Prepare and submit daily pending vehicle reports and final inspection documentation.

Coordinate closely with technicians and workshop supervisors to resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
