Spare Parts Picker

Job Description

Accurate Picking: Pick spare parts accurately according to approved sales orders and picking lists.

Verification: Verify part numbers, descriptions, and quantities against the picking list before packing.

Packing: Pack spare parts securely and appropriately to prevent damage during handling and transportation.

Labelling: Ensure all packages are correctly labelled with customer, order, and shipment details.

Order Handover: Hand over completed and properly packed orders to the Dispatch Team within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT).

Discrepancy Reporting: Immediately report shortages, damaged parts, wrong items, or inventory discrepancies to the Storekeeper.

FIFO Compliance: Strictly follow the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle during the picking and issuing of stock, wherever applicable.

Daily Dispatch Targets: Ensure all assigned orders are picked, packed, and completed in line with the daily dispatch schedule.

Receiving & Binning: Assist in receiving, sorting, checking, and binning incoming spare parts and oil shipments.

Stock Verification: Support random cycle counts and physical stock verification to maintain accurate inventory records.

Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness, proper housekeeping, and organized storage of spare parts and oil within the warehouse.

SOP & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), health and safety requirements, and company policies.

Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading spare parts and oil shipments as required, following safe handling practices.

Picking Accuracy: Maintain a high level of picking accuracy and attention to detail to minimize order errors, returns, and customer complaints.
