Plant Supervisor

Job Description

• Assign shift target to machine operators and floor staff based on the master production schedule

• For Quality – verify sheet alignment, ruling line, margin accuracy, page count, stitch tension, and cover registration

• Track and minimize paper waste/scrap during reel setups and changeovers

• Direct, train, and mentor floor workers, machine operators, and packing in-charge

• Track shift attendance, manage floor discipline, record daily operator output metrics

• Coordinate raw materials movement (paper reels, printed cover sheets, stitching wire, glue, plain sheets, cover reels), issue from store, and record

• Maintain all documents up to date

• Perform other duties assigned by superior

• Spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, etc)

• Presentation Tools (e.g. Google Slides, Power Point, etc)
