What the adverts show
Eighteen of the 23 were still open on 12 October 2026. The FHI 360 posts are senior roles that ask for a degree and years of supply chain experience, so their range says little about a storekeeper’s pay. The entry and middle posts, from store assistant to warehouse supervisor, gave no figure. Two warehouse assistant adverts said a forklift licence was highly desirable. Which minimum applies
The floor depends on the employer’s sector: TZS 200,000 a month in industry, TZS 200,500 in business, TZS 398,500 for inland transport and TZS 464,000 for freight clearing and forwarding in 2026. A storekeeper at a factory and one at a clearing agent can have different legal minimums for the same work.
Responsibility for stock
Stores jobs carry responsibility for goods. Before you accept, ask how stock losses are investigated, whether a shortfall can be deducted from your pay and which written procedure applies. Clearing and forwarding roles are covered in freight clearing pay.

Ask for the gross monthly wage, allowances, shift pattern and probation in writing, then estimate take-home pay with the take-home pay calculator. For the FHI 360 posts, divide the annual basic salary by 12 before comparing; every published range is listed on the NGO and research pay page.
